If this is your first time in a yoga class, there are some guidelines that will help us all have a peaceful time in class.
Don't eat a heavy meal less than two hours before class. If you need to fuel your practice, something small and light is best to help you feel your best while practicing.
Dress comfortably for practice. Wear clothing in which you can move easily. Avoid clothing that may make you feel vulnerable or exposed during practice or loose shirts that may fall over face and obscure sight in inverted asanas.
Please remove your shoes upon entering the studio and place them under the bench outside the studio or along the wall inside the room.
Please bring only the necessities to class: yoga mat, water bottle and car keys. Embodied Yoga and Blue Star Wellness are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
If you do not have a yoga mat, mats, blocks and other props are available for your convenience. Kindly wipe down blocks and mats with mat spray and a cloth before returning them.
Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before class. Classes begin promptly at their scheduled time. Once the studio door closes, late attendees will not be admitted.
The studio is a calm, quiet, sanctuary-like space. Please set up and speak quietly to avoid disturbing fellow students who are centering themselves for practice.
Please silence mobile devices and set them to Do Not Disturb before practice.
If you must leave practice early, please pack up and leave class quietly as we transition into Savasana to avoid disturbing other class members.
Class packages are valid for six months from the date of purchase.
If the instructor must cancel class, an email and/or text message will be sent to registrants at least 60 minutes before class and a credit will be applied to each registrant's account.
Registrant cancelations must be made at least 60 minutes before class for class credit to your account.
